Nevada does not have an official retired or inactive status. However, you may notify the board that you are not renewing your license and it can be noted that your license is “inactive” or “retired” instead of “expired.” To request inactive or retired status, please send a written request to nsbaidrd@nsbaidrd.nv.gov.
Registrants no longer practicing who meet certain requirements may apply for emeritus status. To apply for emeritus status, please submit the emeritus application.
